This 42-hour course focuses on the history, preparation, and service of coffee, and it includes the 18-hour LAX/Hospitality Worker training. The course consists of three 6-hour modules: Customer Service training, Server training, and the National Restaurant Association’s ServSafe Food Handler Certification training and 24-hours of Barista Training. It incorporates both lecture and hands-on training. This training will prepare participants for barista positions that are available at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), and other hotel properties. Enrollment into this training is based on passing a pre-requisite class with our lead barista instructor. Trainees must be able and willing to taste coffee.
