The prep cook program provides both classroom instruction and hands-on work experience in a professional kitchen. Participants will learn a range of skills such as knife safety and skills, kitchen math and measurements, food preparation and production, and will also earn their Food Handler’s Certification. The program also offers resume and interviewing skills training, and upon completion, assistance in finding well-paying union jobs.
