From Food Bank to Table:
Recipes from the HTA Kitchen
During these challenging economic times, many families are facing greater food challenges and doing their best to make every meal count. At the Hospitality Training Academy (HTA), we’re proud to support our community — not only by training the next generation of chefs and hospitality professionals, but by using our skills and resources to help families.
We created From Food Bank to Table: Recipes from the HTA Kitchen, a new video series where HTA chefs demonstrate creative, easy-to-follow recipes using shelf-stable items, canned goods, fresh produce, and other ingredients commonly found at food banks or pantries.
Cooking can feel overwhelming when resources are limited. These videos are here to make preparing good food easier — and to bring comfort and connection to your table.
If you need help finding a local food bank or pantry in Los Angeles, visit the LA Regional Food Bank Pantry Locator or call 2-1-1 to connect with nearby resources.
